That changed the world

Boris Johnson

Prime Minister: 24 July 2019 - 6 September 2022

Born in New York City (1964), home-schooled at the family farmhouse on Exmoor. Even before Eton, he was seen as a prodigy at boarding school.  This  larger than life character, Oxford Graduate, president of the Oxford Union, would grow up to dominate 21st century British politics and media.

'A quick learner'. 'A fantastically able boy'.

'A genius who excelled at Ancient Greek and Latin, who loved rugby'.

Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party, Boris faced a series of

crises that will define Britain's place in the world for decades to come. From

the agonising upheaval of Brexit and the devastating Covid-19 pandemic to

the crises in Afghanistan and the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Despite his

bluster, after just three years in office, Boris was forced to resign.

"Man who has never thought the rules

apply to him or his mates."  Keir Starmer.
