That changed the world
Isambard Kingdom Brunel

"The man was a compulsive innovator."

Brunel was an ingenious engineer. He built under rivers and through hills, creating the longest tunnels, the biggest bridges and the speediest ships the world had ever seen. He pioneered a prefabricated hospital for use in the Crimean War in response to a plea from Florence Nightingale. He was burnt, broken and buried under his constructions but nothing stopped Brunel. He died aged 53, but his contributions to the world of engineering live on.
