Concorde was a joint venture between the British Aircraft Corporation and AƩrospatiale. First flown in 1969 it entered service in 1976 and continued commercial flights for 27 years.

Until 2000, when it crashed taking off from Charles de Gaulle Airport, with a death toll of 113, mostly German tourists, on a trip of a lifetime to New York and a luxury Caribbean cruise.

It's final commercial flight was October 23, 2003.
