The Lotus 18 that Stirling Moss used to win the 1961 Monaco Grand Prix has been restored ....complete without the side panel that fell off during the race!

HH

Designed by Colin Chapman for use by Lotus in Formula Junior, Formula 2, and Formula 1, the 18 was the first rear engined car built by Lotus and was a marked improvement over Chapman's early and only moderately successful front engined formula cars. Moss's win at Monaco was the first for a Lotus car in a Grand Prix.
